Fun in the foyer

Since I am still trying to get the dining room cleaned up and decorated I thought that I would redo the foyer table.  It has been sitting there way too long with a Christmas tablecloth over it.  So I took a break from sorting out napkins and napkin rings and got this done.

Not too much changed here.  I added my new rooster in here since the other one is on the kitchen island for now.  I changed out the book and added the crackled glass container.

So here is the overall look with the mirror.

Now back to the dining room.  I also found out that we may not be getting our new living room furniture until the end of the month or even until the beginning of next month.  Oh well, at least it will give me more  time to get some  rooms done before it comes.

  1. Ugh! Waiting is the worst, isn't it?! But it will be so worth it once it comes annnddd...you will have more time to dream about what you want to do in the room once the furniture arrives. Looking forward to seeing it! Your foyer is very pretty...Love the drape-y greens especially. Jane

    1. I hate waiting for furniture that I really want. It is usually a compromise for the living room furniture but not this time.

    1. Thank you. I threw this together in about 5 minutes. I was busy working in the kitchen and dining room that day and I just couldn't stand looking at the Christmas tablecloth anymore.

  6. The table looks perfect in that space and the mirror finished everything off. I see in the comment above that you threw it together in five minutes....that was five minutes well spent! Normally it is the stuff I spend no time on at all the turns out the best :) Have a great day Jody!
