Tablescape withdrawl

I am having decorating withdrawl right now.  I have been so busy with getting this house in order to get it for sale that I haven't had time to change out any tablescapes. I am wanting to get the lower patio cleaned out this weekend and get it decorated.  I liked how I had it last year and think I will use most of that again.

This is how my dining room table looks like right now.  I don't know, should I downsize it for showings?

I did scale down the kitchen a bit.  I think this will look nice for showings.

There is so much to do and just not enough time in the week to get it done.  I guess it doesn't help that I work 6 days a week either.

  1. I like your dining table the way it is. Some people can't visualize a large table for 6-8 in a room with other decor and this shows them just how much room they will have. Good luck with the sale!!

    1. Thank you. I thought that maybe I should rethink the centerpiece. Maybe make it smaller.

  2. Hi Jody,
We are thinking about selling too! I love the way your tables all look and I wouldn't change a thing! Beautiful! I never thought to set my kitchen table too. Thanks for the idea!

    1. Thank you Elaine. I have always set my tables when we sell. I don't know why but you always see them set in model homes so why not. I just don't want to over do the table settings.

    1. Thank you. We are looking for a place first this time. We usually sell ours first and then look but there just isn't much that suits us that is for sale right now.

  5. You SHOULD do your lower patio the same as last year - those colours and décor looked great! I'd leave your dining room table just how you have it. It looks wonderful and helps tie in your Tuscan mural. The centerpiece is the best part so don't change a thing there! Your kitchen t'scape is perfect as well. Working 6 days a week - I don't know how you do it all!

    1. Thank you Lori. It is starting to take a toll on me. I have been doing it for over 4 years now. I don't get much done during the week. So I have to cram everything in on Sunday.
