April showers bring May flowers?

April showers bring May flowers, snow showers that is.  This is what I woke up to this morning.  Nothing like a snow showers to brighten up your day.  Just when my flowers were starting to come up this has to happen.  Here are some pictures that I took in front of the house.

I do love the way that the snow looks on the trees but I am ready for Spring to be here for good.  Here in Colorado we usually get our first snow in October and it can still snow in May.  Like it did last year and killed all the new flowers that I planted.  My backyard has been covered by snow since early November. I just got to see the ground for a few weeks and now it is completely covered again (our backyard faces the north).
