Fall in a tray

I started decorating the family room this past weekend.  I am still working on the fireplace area but I did get my tray on the coffee table done.  I am doing an orange and cream color theme in the family room this year.  I will be finishing up this room this weekend and get it posted.  For now please enjoy my tray.

I took a few pictures at different angles as the tray is pretty much decorated all around.

I can't wait to get the rest of the house done.  Right now my formal living room is full of plastic bins and fall flower/leaves all over the flow.  It's like walking through an obstacle course just to get in there and pick out items.

  3. Happy Fall Jody, I love your tray! For now, I've only got a few items out that are welcoming in fall-a dough bowl with pinecones etc., a oval metal bowl that has some wicker balls in it, orange beens and a glad pinecone as well as a harvest runner and candles. I'm concerned that I may tire of all my pumpkins etc if I put them out already-so I'll wait another week or two(I leave them up till Thanksgiving). Thanks for sharing.

    1. Thank you Noreen. I never tire of pumpkins. I usually don't have everything done until closer to October.

  5. Jody,
The Fall Tray is gorgeous, dear friend!
I love the blending of hues and textures within your tray!
I understand exactly what you mean about your dining area filled with plastic tubs.
That's how my Studio One looks each Season, too!
    Fondly,

  6. The collection of Fall goodness in the tray is so pretty! I think I may have a bit more of an obsession with trays than I do with pillows....or maybe they are neck and neck!

    1. Thank you Carol. I seem to have an obsession with pillows, plates and trays. I have a hard time passing them up in the stores.

  11. Jody, a few colors and some height with the candle does the job. The tray makes it easy to move if you need to. Great idea. Sylvia D.
