My summer front porch

Since I am taking a break from house hunting I decided to fix up the back corner of my front porch today.  I just wanted to do something simple for now.  I love to use sunflowers for summer and fall.  For some reason I have been drawn to yellow and orange for a few years now.  I love their vibrant colors.

I love using my crates in this corner.  Until I can find something to replace them they will stay for awhile.

I was going to use my pillows that say summer on the bench but I thought these would look nice since you live, laugh and love on a porch too.

  2. So nice to see you posting some décor again though I know it must be hard to be in limbo. You've create a lovely vignette on your porch with terrific colours. Love those crates - I could have used some of those in my Farmhouse décor set-up.

    1. Thank you Lori. I am having a hard time with my dishes packed away. I am about ready to rip them open and put them back on the shelves. I have to admit that I bought some new dishes from Pier 1 the other day. I just couldn't help myself.

  8. I love the cheery colors Jody! Sunflowers are one of my favorites for Aug. and Sept. decorating as well. I have pulled a few out and used them in my family room. I'm sure some will make their way out onto the porch in Sept. Thanks for sharing with SYC.
    hugs,

    1. Thank you Jann. Sunflowers are one of my favorites too. I am probably not going to be able to decorate for Fall this year until late. If all goes well with the new house we will be closing at the end of September.
