Spring front porch 2015

Today the Spring fever bug hit me.  With the temp in the 70's I just couldn't stay inside.  It got me motivated to decorate the front porch for Spring.

I decided to use lots of color this year.  Here are some close ups of the crate area.

I left it simple on the bistro table.  No table setting this time.

Here is how the porch looks when you first walk up to it.

I haven't decided what I want to do with the door area yet.  Right now I want to concentrate on the dining room since we finally sold the old living room furniture today.  I also want to get out into the front yard today and do some cleaning up since all the snow is gone in the front.   My iris's are starting to come up plus most of the other flowers.

  3. Love all the color on your front porch with your spring decorating! I need to do mine, too....I have the spring wreath on the front door, but that's about it. Congratulations on selling the living room furniture!

    1. Thank you. I have never got to enjoy my front porch very much as the next door neighbors have children and it seems that all the other children in the neighborhood come down and play at their house. I tried once but it was just too noisy. I do get to enjoy my back porch and deck more.

    1. Thank you. I bought the rug at Wal-Mart last year. It works great for Spring and Summer. I was looking for something with blue and orange and there it was. I also bought the pillows this year there too.

    1. Thank you. This is the first house we have had with a large front porch. All the others were just stoops. We got lucky with this house. It is a walk out so we have a covered deck and a patio beneath in the back. I have a hard time trying to decorate all of them. Have a wonderful weekend!
