It's not easy to make a skinny tree look full. I think that I will have to go to Hobby Lobby and see what ornaments they have to help me decide.

O Christmas Tree
Yes I am already thinking of how I am going to decorate my tree this year. For the past 5 years I have decorated the tree with bronze and gold with lots of sparkles. I am thinking that I might do a woodland tree or an elegant tree this year. When I was growing up my mother always alternated the tree every year. She would do the tree in all red lights, bows and ornaments one year and the next year it would be multiple colored lights and ornaments. We don't have much room in this house so our tree is skinny. Here is how my tree has been looking these past years.

These are all gorgeous. I am thinking about my tree too. I can't wait.
ReplyDeleteThese are both gorgeous Jody. I use the same ornaments every year but I like to change up the ribbon and make it look full. We always get a fresh tree but I really have been contemplating a faux tree. I'm constantly cleaning up all the needles. I am sure your tree will be just beautiful!
ReplyDeleteWe used to get a real tree too but I didn't like cleaning up the needles and my dogs liked to eat them. Why I don't know.
DeleteI have the same slim tree as you and to make it look fuller, I like to add deco mesh to mines. That last image looks like the colors I use on my tree...I don't do the traditional colors on my tree but I do love them too. Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteI bought some greenery picks at Hobby Lobby to use and some new ornaments in red, green and gold. I think I might add another small tree in the sitting room and use my country/woodland ornaments.
