Don't worry Bee happy

I love that song by Bobby McFerrin from the 80's.  This tablescape that I did makes me happy.  I think I might leave it up until Fall.  My inspiration was the teapot.

I just love the little bees flying around on it.  I was able to find some bee fabric and napkin holders to go with it.

I got the honey dippers at Hobby Lobby and painted them yellow.

Sometimes I feel like maybe I should add one more item on the tray.

Or maybe not.

I showed my husband this when I got done and he said that it reminded him of the 50's because of the black and white. So I guess you could say this is the "bees knees".

  8. This is a darling, charming and cheerful table. Love everything about it. Neat you could find that bee fabric, love how it looks draped over the table. and your bee teapot is so cute and love that it is filled with daisies. Meg Ryan said in "You've got mail that daisies were the friendliest flowers" and I think so too. so your table looks friendly and welcoming and really like the touch of black. I have that same pear from Target and love mine too.........lol
what a great idea to use the honey dipper on the napkins. So cute! and I have one the exact same color, but it came like that and have had it for years........lol
Thanks for sharing your creativity with us. and think you should leave it till Fall........
    Blessings, Nellie

  14. Awesome tablescape. I like how you used the teapot as your inspiration for the great fabric and how you added the honey dippers to the napkin rings. I also think the blackboard tray under the centerpiece is a great idea, it really pulls it all together.
