Pumpkins and Plaid tablescape

This weekend has been very cold and misty so I have had some time to get some more Fall decorating done.  I wanted to work on the front porch but it is just too cold so I started on my kitchen.  I took my inspiration from my new pumpkin plates.

Since the plates have a black background I used my black scroll charges and the black lanterns.  The yellow plates match the color of the sunflowers and the plaid napkins go perfect with all the colors.

I also used two colors of pumpkins and a sunflower to mimic the design on the plates.

Here is how the whole table looks.

    1. I would love too send you some of the cold today. Only a high of 46 degrees with rain today. I live in the foothills and we might even get some snow tonight.

  3. As always, you've put together just the right pieces and colours to go with those fantastic plates. I especially like the lantern centerpiece and plaid napkins. Hope you enjoyed the game - I'm sure the snacks were good!

  5. When I read that it was just too cold to work outside, I had to look at your sidebar to see where it is that you live. Colorado!!! Wow! I heard you guys got POUNDED with snow either yesterday or today? My goodness! So early in the year...at least to us Missourians! My husband and I visited Denver and Silverthorne earlier this year in April. We were caught up in a huge snowstorm that had the Interstate shut down. We ended up having to stay in Silverthorne a couple of extra days! Beautiful, though. Your tablescape is gorgeous, and I could not be more in love with those napkins and those plates!!! Perfect! Have a wonderful week, stay warm, and enjoy the beauty of your state. It's a winner!!!

    1. Thank you. It hasn't snowed here in the metro this weekend. We have had temps in the high 70's. Monday will be a drastic change with highs in the 30's and snow but it will be getting warmer during the week so the snow won't hang around here. The mountains will probably get dumped on. We live is what is called the foothills sw of denver. We do get more snow here then further in town but not as much as the mountains.
