Instead of doing my whole dining room today I decided to just decorate the buffet table. At least I got the dining room table done last week. Maybe I can do the hutch and side table later.
I love this bunny with the ruffled collar. He reminds of the white rabbit in Alice in Wonderland when he is in the queens court. He is another one of my great finds at Home Goods. Now all I need to do is get him a pair of glasses.
Here is a close up of the grape vine bunny. I wanted to use him on my kitchen table but I didn't have enough room.
Just thought I would do something simple on the buffet this year. I really need to get my house in order still. If you can believe it the hubby is talking about moving. That is something that I am not ready for. Sometimes I would like another house because I enjoy renovating and decorating but not packing.

ReplyDeleteThank you Marty. Have a great day!
DeleteYour Easter buffet looks so nice all decorated for Easter! I really like the forsythia arrangement with the grapevine bunny!
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Lanita
Thank you Lanita. I am having such a hard time getting everything done. I just don't seem to have a lot of energy lately. I still have more decorating to do. Have a wonderful day!
DeleteLovely colourful display! Moving? Yes, the decorating of a new space would be fun but definitely not the packing...especially of all our "pretties"!
ReplyDeleteThank you Lori. The hubby gets in these moods when he sees other houses in the neighborhood go up for sale. Right now I would only move if I found my dream home. We have been married for almost 14 years and we have lived in 6 houses now.
DeleteGreat job on your decorating. I love the rabbit. Blessings, xoxo,Susie
ReplyDeleteThank you. When I saw him at Home Goods somebody else was looking at him and I was thinking "just put him down he is mine''. She must have read my mind as she put him down and I snatched him up quick.
DeleteLooks terrific! So cheery! Happy Spring!
ReplyDeleteThank you and have a great rest of the week!
DeleteHappy Spring-looking good and I love the bunny with the collar!
ReplyDeleteThank you. I like him too. I think that I might do a Alice in Wonderland tablescape sometime. He would be perfect.
DeleteIt looks so lovely Jody., I haven't pulled anything out yet. It's been so cold here still doesn't feel like spring yet. Hopefully over the weekend I can put a few things out.
ReplyDeleteThank you Jeanette. It was in the 30's yesterday and snowed. But today it will be in the 60's. I just had all the snow melted in my backyard and now it is back. It faces North so it takes forever to melt.
DeleteSuper cute, Jody. You always have such clever ideas! Jane
ReplyDeleteThank you Jane. This isn't exactly what I wanted to do but it will work for now. After Easter I will be changing it to Spring.
DeleteAnother gorgeous post, Jody! I featured your bunny table setting this week, you have an amazing eye for decor!
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Patti

ReplyDeleteBe a sweetie,
Shelia ;)
Thank you Shelia. I can't wait to use him again. Have a Happy Easter!
DeleteI love all of these sweet bunnies! I think it is my favorite thing about Spring decor. I about died during our last move but the new house was worth it. Take care.
ReplyDeleteThank you. I hate moving but I do like looking at houses. I only want to move again if it is the perfect house. We always sell ours before we find one and have to hurry up and find something. We only had a couple of weeks left when we bought this house. I love my house but hate the neighborhood. This is the strictest HOA we have ever lived in.
DeleteBeautiful Spring setting! I love Forsythia (or as we call them, Yellowbells).
ReplyDeleteThanks, me too. Have a great day!
DeleteI love the grape vine bunny - so cute! Beautiful colors for spring. Thanks for sharing at the #HomeMattersParty :)
ReplyDeleteThank you and have a Happy Easter!
DeleteReally adore display, love the colors and your bunny does indeed remind of Alice and Wonderland! Happy Easter.
ReplyDeleteYes, I want to move someday too but the thought of cleaning out my house...ugh! Good luck.
Thank you Karen. Keeping your house clean is the worst part of selling. The next time we move I want to find the house first, get it fixed up, move in and then put our old house up for sale. Happy Easter!
DeleteLove your easter display and the colours in those flowers are beautiful. Happy Easter and HPS Michelle
ReplyDeleteThank you and have a Happy Easter!
DeleteI love the beautiful colors in your floral displays! That collared bunny is fabulous. I have a tall bunny, thinking maybe I could give him a ruffled collar. Thanks for sharing with SYC.
ReplyDeletehugs,
Jann
Thank you Jann. I love ruffled collars on bunnies. I am still going to put some glasses on him.
DeleteI see what you mean about the white rabbit. He looks like he is busy arranging the flowers and just slightly annoyed to be interrupted. HPS, Happy Easter.
ReplyDeleteHe is going to get some glasses put on him for the next time I use him. Happy Easter!
DeleteAbsolutely beautiful and I love the rabbit. Thanks Jody for sharing on Wordless Wednesday.
