Let it snow

Saturday morning I woke up to 12 inches of snow and a balmy high of 6 degrees.  Today was a little better being in the low 20's but not enough for me to want to venture out.  We spent about an hour yesterday removing the snow from our 5000 + square foot driveway so today I just wanted to sit and watch tv.  I did get a few pictures this afternoon of the snow and how pretty it looks on our evergreen trees.


I thought it would look pretty to put a chair by the gate.


The sun goes down pretty early here with the foothills behind our house so my pictures turned out a little dark.


I already had the wreath on the gate for the holiday season and added the chair with the throw and the pillow.

I am glad that it snowed on the weekend as I hate to drive in this weather.  The good news is that it will be warmer this coming week.  The bad news is there is more snow in the forecast for Christmas weekend.

    Gorgeous pictures, Suzy! Love the chair by the gate. It has been very cold in Texas also, but, of course, no snow. If we get 12 inches here, they would probably shut down the whole city. LOL Stay warm and Merry Christmas. Maria

      Thank you. They are pretty good here at removing the snow but the roads still get icy. It is going to be warmer this week but of course more snow in the forecast for the weekend. Merry Christmas!
