Front porch part 2

I finally got the front porch done this past weekend  .I love this Santa boots planter that I recently purchased,

I thought they would look nice next to my bench.  So  once I placed it there I decided to change the decor around the bench.

Front door

Here is what my front porch looks like from the driveway.  The only thing I hate about the front porch is that it is hard to see everything because of the columns.  You really need to be on the porch to see all the decor.

Here is a close up of the urns out front.  I got them done last weekend.  I thought if I left dirt in them it would be easier to stick the stems in.  The one on the right worked perfectly but for some reason the one on the lefts dirt was frozen.  I had a very hard time getting the stems to stay.

  3. I love the urns and Santa's boots. To make it more visible, you could elevate it or move it to the left side where the chair is. I don't think it matters because everyone loves the urns.

  6. Oh I just love the boot planter! My pillars block a little as well. I decided it makes it a surprise for those who are willing to venture up to the door. :) Thanks for sharing with SYC. Please hop over to Camp and Cottage living and link this to our Creating Christmas party as well. Kimberly's topic is porches and outdoor spaces. The party is open until the 24th.
