Fall front door

I come home in the afternoon to let my dog out so I thought I would take a little time to decorate.  Ok I know that I should be working on the inside of the house but I am about to burst if I don't get some kind of Fall decor going on the front porch.  Since I don't have much time I concentrated on the front door area only.

I made the topiaries myself with faux pumpkins from Hobby Lobby and I got the urns at Home Depot.  They were white so I painted them black.  The wreath is from Goodwill and it originally had green apples and berries.  They are still there underneath the fall picks and bow that I added.

Well that was all I could get done today.  If I didn't need to get back to work I would have added some of my faux pumpkins and mums.   Maybe another day.

  9. I SO know how you HAD to get some fall decorating done! Great job on your new home's front entry - beautiful front step area and you've added just the right fall touches to provide the perfect fall accent. Too bad work has to get in the way of "playing". :)

    1. Thank you Lori. I wish I had more time to get this house in order. Working 6 days a week and trying to unpack isn't easy. I also need to get a few rooms painted before I can start decorating them. So much to do and so little time. I need to get the house some what ready for Thanksgiving.

  10. I love it! Your front door looks so cozy and festive. I always try to decorate my front door first too. It's a great trick because even if you haven't had the time to decorate anywhere else in the house, the front door is the first thing your guests see and gives them the impression your entire house is decorated for the season!
