Fall has arrived in the living room

It took me awhile but I was able to get the living room decorated.  I still have many more rooms to go.  I have so much stuff that I can't decide what I want to use in which room.  I think I will do the powder room and the entry next since I still have the bathtub in the dining room.  It has become useful as it is holding a lot of my fall decor so my dogs won't chew them up.  So here is the living room reveal. First is the fireplace mantel.

Here is how it looks from a distance. I couldn't get an good shots without the glare on the clock.

Now for some close ups.

Here is the area with the end tables and coffee table.  I decided to make them simple this year.  I added my orange pillows for Fall to the chair and couch.

I have this little table in the living room near the kitchen that I thought would be perfect for my owls.  Nothing fancy for this table since we use it for keys and what nots.

The last area is the entertainment center.  I think my favorite decor in the living room is above the television.  We have a row of windows on the opposite wall so there is always the glare on the television when you try to take pictures.

Well that's it for now.  I have got the get the inside done soon so I can get the porches done for the first day of Fall.  Wish me luck.

  5. Oh my gosh! I love all your Fall decorations; you sure have a knack for simplicity, yet it looks elegant when you are finished. My kind of gal! I have a large apothecary jar similar to yours, and I've only used it to decorate at Christmas time..Now seeing this, I'm going to start using it for more seasons..I love the arrangement with the Owl and pinecones..I also have something like your wrought iron wall hanging piece. When we had the old aluminum siding replaced, my scounces were knocked off the wall by outside workman and I've never replace them because I can't figure out what type goes beside the beautiful picture I have in my living room and can't remember what those scounces that got broke looked like..that wall looks naked without some scounces beside that beautiful picture.
Found your blog via Sand and Sisal..Thanks for shring all your decorating ideas and pictures with us.
