Christmas urns

Since we have such a big front porch at our new home I thought it would look good to have some large urns by the columns.  Yesterday when I came home at lunch time I decided to tackle decorating them.  I used a small Christmas tree in the middle and worked around it with different kinds of greenery picks.  I had some branches that I added when it looked full enough.  I think that I might have gone overboard with these.  The urns are 30 inches high so I found myself looking as I went and saying "it doesn't look full enough".  Here is how they turned out.

I still haven't finished decorating the front porch yet. When I put these urns together yesterday it was round 20 degrees.  This weekend is suppose to be warmer so I can get the porch done.

Here is a close up of the right urn.

Now for the left urn.

Now all I have to do is get the porch done and of course all of the inside of the house.  We are needing to get a new Christmas tree since our old one is skinny and we have more room in our new home.  My goal is to get all my Christmas decorating done this weekend.  Wish me luck.

    1. Thank you. I am by no means a professional floral designer. I just kept looking at it and thinking it needed more. I never realized how big the urns were.
