I kept the wood and metal wall hanging that I used for Christmas and added some greenery and candles.
On the hearth I have a flower arrangement, candles and my wood and metal box that you can use as an ottoman. We did get new chairs for this room. You can see one of them in the right bottom corner. The hubby wanted a recliner and I compromised with these chairs. I will be posting about them when I do the rest of the room.
Here is the right side of the fireplace.
The right bottom of the fireplace I have my stacked suitcases that I added a tall candlestick and a small metal container.
On the wall left of the fireplace is the side table. This area is where the tv should go but it is too small for the entertainment center so it is on the trunk that you see in the bottom left corner.
Now I just need to get the rest of the room done and I can get started on the formal living room. Hopefully I can get most of the two rooms done this weekend.

Beautiful colors, Jody! Your accents all compliment each other so nicely!
ReplyDeleteI am working on the same thing this weekend, getting things back to normal! I just shared my winter home tour this week, but I didn't show my music room that had totes of Christmas still needing to be packed away! It is always so refreshing when it is finally packed up even though we hate to see it go at first. Thanks for linking up! Have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteIn case you didn't make the connection, I am Amber from Follow The Yellow Brick Home. On some blogs I show up commenting from my blogger profile. I can't figure out how to change it. Always something new to learn with blogging!
