Revamping a Fall wreath and what's hidding in the cabinet

Today I got my mums planted in the front and back yard.  It took a little longer than I thought it would so I didn't get much of my Fall decorating done.  I did finish up the dining room and worked on a wreath project.
First up is the wreath.  I had an grape vine wreath with some bittersweet on it.  Very dull.  It needs to be prettied up.  This is the before.

Now here is what it looks like after I added some fall leaves, picks and more berries.

This is the first step to my Fall decorating on the front porch.  I will probably wait until next weekend to get it all decorated.

Next I moved on to the dining room.  I wanted to add a little bit of Fall to the corner cabinet.  Since I am doing a bird theme right now I choose my set of owls.  I left everything in place and just tucked some Fall touches in here and there.

  1. Great additions to your wreath though I like it both ways :) Pretty fall touches on your cabinet as well. Good for you getting mums planted - I always just leave mine in the pots they come in though around here, they freeze before too long anyway.

    1. Thanks Lori. As long as we don't get snow in October they last for a while. They come back every year and if I don't cut them back until spring they bloom early.

Your Fall wreath looks gorgeous with the addition of leaves, gourds and pumpkins, dear friend
Love the autumnal decor of your corner cabinet!

  3. I love what you did! It's always so nice to transform something you already have. There's a lot of satisfaction in that. :)
