It's all about Fall

Since the weather is starting to get a little cooler here it is making me dream about Fall.  Fall is my favorite season.   I love all the warm colors and crisp air.  I am ready to pull out the sweaters.

I thought I would share some of my past Fall decor as this is the first Fall for me to decorate my new home.  Last year I only decorated the top of my buffet and a little bit on the front porch.  We moved in the first week of October so I was more focused on getting the house set up.

All of these photos are from our previous home.  These are some of my favorites.

Now that I have seen these again I think that I might just have to start pulling out the bins from the basement storage room and get busy.  I usually wait until September but I think I will start early this year.  I have started painting some of my old plastic pumpkins that I will be using this year.  I will posting those later on.  I am hoping to get those done this weekend also.

    1. Thank you. The pillow with the buttons I got at Kohl's. I believe they still carry them. I bought the throw on Ebay a couple of years ago.

  2. Fall is my favorite season as well. We've recently remodeled our home and I'm really looking forward to decorating with the beautiful warm colors of autumn. Your pictures are lovely and I can't wait to see how you decorate your new home.

  3. I so enjoyed seeing all these fall decor pics again - know I had missed seeing some of them before. You are so talented at arranging faux florals and garlands! Even the vignettes with what one might think are over-the-top flowers, leaves and berries are done so beautifully and look terrific! You have definitely got me thinking about fall decorating but we only just started getting a stretch of nice summer weather so I'm going to enjoy it for now :) Off to pin some of my faves here!

    1. Thank you Lori. Sometimes I do go a little overboard with the floral arrangements but I just can't help myself as I love all the colors of Fall. We have been having a warm summer here with little rain. We are lucky to get about 5 minutes of rain at our house when it does rain.

    1. Thank you Debbie. We have been having warm weather here in Colorado with very little rain. Yesterday we finally got some good rain but of course it had to come with some hail. I was disappointed that some of my flowers were damaged. I am working on a pumpkin project this weekend and hope to get some Fall decor up. Have a great weekend!

  10. Fall is my favorite season too, but way too early to think about it here in TX.
Fortunately we are having some cooler temps and nice rainfall. Would be nice if this transitions right into fall, but I know that isn't likely. '-)
