I love our new yard. It has so many areas to decorate in the snow. We had a fence and gate put in to close off the rest of the backyard and I thought it would be nice to hang a wreath on the gate. Well of course it looked a little bare so I brought my small bench over.
I love all the big evergreen trees that we have on this property. They look great in the background with the snow on them.
So this would be a great place to sit with a cup of hot cocoa and watch the wildlife walk by. I might try and get the front porch done today. It is still a bit cold this morning.

Oh so pretty! Your wreath looks wonderful on the gate and the blanket of snow adds just the right Christmas background. I'm sure you will enjoy your new yard in all the seasons.
ReplyDeleteThank you Lori. It was just a little too cold today to finish anymore outside decorating. I am hoping to get the front porch done within the next few days.
DeleteHi Jody - beautiful. This sure looks a cozy spot, love the blanket! Jane
ReplyDeleteThank you Jane. Have a wonderful week!
DeleteBeautiful scenes! I'm not a fan of being cold but I would love to sit on your bench, wrapped up with some HOT coffee...so serene!
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing at AMAZE MONDAY!
Blessings,
Cindy
Thank you Cindy. I am not a fan of the cold either. It has been bitterly cold here for the past few days and snowing.
DeleteI love the wreath on the gate. Great idea to bring the bench over...it's beautiful. I am so jealous of the snow!!!
ReplyDeleteThank you Debbie. I would gladly give you all the snow that I have in my yard. It is supposed to be getting warmer this week and I hope that most of it is off of the driveway by the weekend. We have a lot of shady spots and with it being cold and windy it is hard to keep it clear.
DeleteJust beautiful! What a gorgeous spot! xxx Maria
ReplyDeleteThank you Maria. Thanks for the party and have a wonderful day!
DeleteWhat a wonderful spot!
ReplyDeleteI have the fence and the gate and the bench - now we just need a little snow here in Montreal ( the kind that stays for more than an hour LOL )
ReplyDeleteIt looks SO gorgeous that I'm pinning !
Beautiful job
xox
Thank you. Since we live in the foothills it snows a little more and stays longer. It is suppose to get warmer in the next few days. I hope most of this will melt (at least on my driveway would be nice).
DeleteBeautiful Jody. It's been very warm here in NJ, unseasonally warm. I don't mind it all.
ReplyDeleteThank you. We are starting to get some warmer weather here today. At some point we will be near 60 degrees.
DeleteJody,
ReplyDeleteWhile I adore this photo with the bench. . .I'm sure it was equally as lovely with the single wreath!!!
Hot cocoa and wildlife watching sounds totally heavenly to me!!!
Is there room for two on your bench??? (wink!)
LOVE the snow on the trees!!!
Fondly,
Pat
Thank you. Actually the bench used to be larger but I had my hubby make it smaller. It is more like a snuggle bench for two now. The snow on the trees is my favorite.
DeleteHow beautiful! It looks like a Christmas card! Happy holidays from Florida, Diane
ReplyDeleteThank you. The rest of this week is going to be pretty warm here in Colorado and I am hoping that most of this snow will be gone.
DeleteIt's picture perfect Jody! Looks like a wonderful place for a family photo. Love the snow covered trees and ground! I worked on my porch today. Finally warmed up a little. Thanks for sharing with SYC.
ReplyDeletehugs,
Jann
Thnak you Jann. I will be getting mine done this weekend.
DeleteJody, I just love this! I don't get any snow, or even cold weather for that matter, here in Manila. I have chosen you as my featured link for this week's #OMHGWW!
