First day of Fall

The first day of Fall has finally arrived.  Fall is my favorite season with the changing of the leaves and the cooler weather.  I am ready to get out my long sleeve shirts and boots.  Tomorrow we will be closing on our new home.  We won't be moving until October 3rd so we can get the carpets cleaned and I can move some of our stuff over.  I am hoping to get organized in the kitchen before we move in.



I am ready to enjoy my new backyard this Fall.  I can't wait to use the fire pit.





I am going to have to get some marshmallows to toast.  I am not sure what kind of seating I want to use around this yet.  These are the current homeowner's chairs.

    You must be so excited and anxious to get going on moving in! Hope all goes well and you get some lovely fall evenings to toast those marshmallows!

      Thank you Lori. We close today and move on the 3rd. Now I just have to get all my packing finished, paint a few rooms in the new home before we move and move all my breakables over myself. Let's see if I can get it done by the 3rd.

      Thank you. The display on the table is at my current home and the fire pit is at the new house. We closed on it this morning and now I have to start moving things over and get a few rooms painted before we move on the 3rd. Of course I am still not done packing everything so I am hoping I can get it all done. It would be easier if I didn't have to work also. I will be posting some pictures soon of the house before we move our furniture in.

    Congratulations on your new home, dear friend!!!
    Have you tried a SmOreO???
    You take off the lid of an Oreo and place a roasted marshmallow on top,
    then put the lid back on!!! YuMMy!!!

      Thank you Pat. I haven't used the firepit yet. I bought some marshmallows today so I think I will have to roast some tonight. I will have to try the oreo thing. I never had that before.
