Fall bench

I just couldn't take it anymore.  I had to do some Fall decorating before me move.  Normally I would have started on the inside by now but I will have to wait until we get settled into the new home.  Since I haven't started packing yet I thought that I would at least decorate my bench on the front porch.

I thought I would keep it simple and not decorate around the bench since I will be moving this soon anyway.  We will be having the appraisal done on our current home Monday so that night I can start packing.  I will be lucky to get all my breakables packed and moved over to the new house before we have movers come.  I like to move my own items that are breakable as I have had things broken before.  This will be a chore as I have a lot more breakables since we moved here.

    1. Thank you. I found the throw on Ebay a few years ago. I think it is called Buchanan Antique Tartan. Mine is small just made for your lap.

    1. Thank you Karren. I started packing Monday night. I thought that I could at least get one room packed a night but that isn't happening. I have way too much stuff that needs to be wrapped carefully and that takes a lot of time.

  13. Hi Jody,
I am visiting from Share Your Cup Thursday. Your fall inspired bench looks so inviting. It looks like a delightful place to curl up with a good book and a cup of hot cider. I see that you have always wanted to live in the south. I live on the MS Gulf Coast. Can't get any more south than that in MS! My husband once lived in Colorado while his dad was stationed there. I have always wanted to visit. Looks like a beautiful state. I am so glad to have found you and am a new follower. Please stop by Still Woods Farmhouse when you get a chance. I am sharing a yummy fall inspired muffin that would taste absolutely delicious on your bench!

    1. Thank you Lynda. I just checked out your muffins and they look delicious. I love Colorado but I am not a snow lover unless I can just stay home. I love the South with the humidity and warmth. I started following your blog too. I love the pumpkin that you did for the door. I have always wanted to cut some of my pumpkins in half. I just might have to try it. Have a wonderful weekend!

    1. Thank you Barbara. I am going to have a ton of boxes and loose items that I will have to move myself. I don't want to pack the boxes too heavy for me to lift so I am using more boxes than normal.
