As I was taking these pictures my hubby walks by and says "Look like everything is back to normal in here".
Bird nest update=I know that I said I was going to leave the bird nest alone on our front porch but I just had to see if mama bird laid any more eggs. Now there are three. I will not be bothering her anymore for a few weeks. I will try to sneak a picture then.

ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by and have a wonderful week!
DeleteKeep an eye on your bird nest and eggs. I had one in the wreath on my front door. 3 baby birds ...almost ready to fly and a black snake climbed up and got one of them. I'm still traumatized....they say moth balls or sulfar around the area will keep them away.....
ReplyDeleteThank you, I will. I have only seen Garter snake around our home and they mainly stay in the garden beds. I am always worried about other birds getting them too.
DeleteYour Kitchen is just beautiful...Love your style.
ReplyDeleteThank you and have a great day!
DeleteWe truly think there is nothing cuter than bird nests.....is there?!! Perfect ~ love it!!!

DeleteIt is always so much fun to rearrange things, and yet, there is a comfort to going back to something you love too! Really love your style, your kitchen looks amazing, and I loved the picture of the bird's eggs! Hopefully you will get to see them as they grow!
ReplyDeleteThank you. I am having a hard time not looking at the nest. I wish that I could see it without being on the front porch. I think that I might check it sometime this weekend just to make sure the babies are alive. Have a wonderful weekend!
DeleteI love this - I like your blog too - started following. Hope you have a great weekend~
ReplyDeleteCarole
Thank you Carole. I just started following you too. Have a wonderful weekend!
DeleteI love your white rooster! Great any time of year. I am so sad. We had a Robin make a nest on top of a wreath I had out on our porch. She had 4 beautiful eggs and I was so excited for the babies to hatch and take flight. Well, something got to her nest and raided the eggs. Poor mama was so upset! I felt so bad for her. She has now gone away and I decided that I will rescue her nest. Thanks for sharing with SYC.
ReplyDeletehugs,
Jann
Thanks Jann. I always worry about the finches nest on the porch. I checked on it today but couldn't get any good pictures. I was trying to hurry since mama bird wasn't around. All I could see in the pictures was fuzzy bodies. I hope that they are all right. Last year her second brood didn't survive.
DeleteSo pretty! Love nests with eggs in spring!
