I bought the metal dress mannequin at Goodwill and painted it off white and added one of my favorite teacups.

ReplyDeleteThank you. This picture was taken in our last home. I have this in the guest bedroom/craft room in the basement right now. Once I finish with that room I will be posting it.

ReplyDeleteThank you. Colorado is a pretty great state to live in. The only thing I don't like is that we don't really have a Fall and Spring. It usually starts snowing in October and can still snow in May.

ReplyDeleteMy love for vintage china started years ago with an antique cup and saucer. Then it was on to tea pots, misc plates and full sets. Now I am addicted. I have so many that I have started finding other uses for them. I made a bunch of vintage tea cup candles for Valentines Day. They were a hit.
Thank you for sharing.
Will visit again soon.
Elizabeth
What a great idea. They would make a great gifts. I think it would be fun to glue 3 or more on top of each other and make a lamp out of them.

ReplyDeleteYour link caught my eye on Inspiration Monday. I just love teacups, but I have not displayed mine in my home as beautifully as you have. Very pretty.

I have a little room in my house with bookcases that I use for storing all my plates and some of the decor I use through out my home. I think that I will display most of them there. Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

ReplyDeleteWe have lived in this house almost 3 years now and I still have some boxes that I haven't opened. If you can believe it just the other day my husband said he was ready to move. I told him that I was not ready and we just got the house almost how we want it. He just doesn't like living in an HOA community. Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!
DeleteTeacups are a great way to add a little color to rooms & decor! Have you seen the candles that are made in teacups?
ReplyDeleteThank you for linking up at the Talented Tuesday Link Party :-) I hope you join us again tomorrow!
Yes I saw those. I tried that once. I glued the teacup to the saucer and also added a little stuffed teddy bear around the cup.
