French Country tablescape

I know that I said that I was going to organize my plates but as I started I found these rooster plates that I bought  a few months ago and I just had to put them on the kitchen table.  I will still get the plates organized today if it kills me.  But for now I enjoyed putting this together as my house is a disaster area from me pulling down all the Christmas decor last night.

I started out with a black scroll charger and added the white chargers on top.  Next I used a red plate and then the rooster plate on top.  Here are pictures of each plate.

Now back to getting organized.

  12. You've certainly given your table a French feel. It looks great...and I like where/how you've placed the napkins. I hope you don't mind if I try that myself.

I am going to organize my dishes after I take down Christmas. I have been trying to put it away for the last three days and so far nothing has been done. Life just gets in the way! I want to clean that out too! I guess you and I have to just keep plugging away and somehow it will all get done!
    I rather set tables! lol

  19. I'm obsessed with layering plates. I love that the square rooster plate is perfectly sized for the round plate underneath. It looks like they were made to go together :)
