Last night I painted the wall inside the two corner units. This is what it looked like before.
I like the wall dark better. Now it looks more like furniture. Sorry that I can't get a bigger picture as my closet isn't big enough. Here are the rest of the pictures. Just a reminder of what it looked like before.
And now the after pictures.
I am thinking about putting a small vanity table across from the above drawer unit since there is an outlet on that wall. I will have to find a pretty small one so there is enough room to get to the back of the closet. Now I need to get busy and get the clothes back in. This is the most storage I have ever had in a closet before. I don't think that I can fill it up.

ReplyDeleteThank you. I am getting things put back in today. I am still needing to by some new storage boxes that will coordinate with the new look.
DeleteJody, I am ever so jealous. :) I would love that closet !! I need to work on my husband to make me one or something close to it. Hope you are doing well. Blessings, xoxo,Susie
ReplyDeleteI have been waiting almost three years to redo this closet. Since we got a tax refund we decided to use some of for the closet. I was a chore getting the hubby motivated to get this done quickly. I am getting things back into it today but of course it doesn't look as pretty as when it was empty.
DeleteOh my!
ReplyDeleteWhat a closet!
I can't wait to see it filled.
Enjoyed visiting,

Thank you Laura. I have most everything back in but I still would like to get some nice storage boxes for the rest of the stuff before I take pictures. Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful day!
DeleteI know how you feel...after years of inadequate closet space I finally got a "step" in closet with a storage system. They are wonderful, I used lined wicker basket in mine. LOL, I didn't have enough stuff at first, now it's busting at the seams! Have a lovely week ~ Mickie.
ReplyDeleteI was either going to use wicker baskets, canvas baskets or the decorative boxes/suitcases. I guess whatever I can find the most of is what I will use. I just don't think that the shoe boxes would look good anymore.
Deletei love it! where did you purchase the closet system? Thanks for linking up to Pin Worthy Wednesday
ReplyDeleteWe got it from Home Depot. We had to order this online since they don't carry this color in the store. It cost us around $1300 for all the units and drawers. They went together fast and are easy to install.
DeleteHow lovely is this? I bet you feel so organized, it turned out so beautifully.
ReplyDeleteThank you. It feels great to have a new closet. The old system didn't really work out and I had most of my clothes stacked on the floor. I am still looking for the right storage boxes and then I will be posting the completed closet with everything in it.
DeleteReally turned out gorgeous! You are going to have fun styling it. Thanks for sharing with SYC.
ReplyDeletehugs,
Jann
Thank you Jann. I bought a few storage bins today and I hope that I will be able to get most of the closet done tonight after work.
DeleteJody,
ReplyDeleteYour new closet arrangement looks fabulous, dear friend!!!
I love the double hanging space!!!
I must share that space with "Mr. Ed". . .his clothing is on the top
and with my five foot nothing stature, my clothing is on the bottom!!!
Something tells me you'll fill it quite nicely!!!
Fondly,
Pat
Thank you Pat. Double hanging is great. It lets you hang more clothes in the same amount of space. I bought some storage bins today so now I can get it finished.
DeleteYour closet looks lovely, all that storage space. I love the dark, and you're right, it does look more like furniture. Looking forward to the pictures with everything in it.
ReplyDeleteThank you. I started putting some things in the new storage bins I bought last night and now I think that I better go buy a few more. They look so much better than shoe boxes.
DeleteThis looks amazing i need to update mine bad !!! #homemattersparty
ReplyDeleteThank you. It feels good to be organized.
DeleteOhhhh, I have serious closet-envy. I love the color combo you chose!
ReplyDeleteThank you. This is the nicest closet that we have had. Our cabinets in the master bathroom are dark brown so I thought it would look better matching instead of staying with white.
DeleteWhat a beautiful closet! Thanks for linking with Friday Favorites! Hope to see you again next week! Michelle Ourcraftymom
ReplyDeleteThank you and see you at the next party!
