Spring dreaming

With today being gloomy and snow in the forecast tonight and tomorrow I thought it would be fun to add some Spring color on the kitchen table.  I wanted to start with my new bunny plates and a palette of blue, green, yellow and  white.  I decided to do a simple tablescape.  I have a more elaborate one planned for Easter.







I probably won't get anymore Spring decorating done today as I need to get my craft room organized.  I have to get all the Christmas put away so I can get the rest of my Spring decor out.

      Thank you. Our snow is very wet and just stopped about an hour ago. I think we probably got close to eight inches. The roads are mostly wet now but it sure was hard to shovel off the driveway today. Have a wonderful week!

    Wow, I am so glad I found you. I was just looking at all the blog pics and saw the greenery and said this is for me. I was happy to see your colorful table scape, and that it had life and all your furniture was not painted white. The room has warmth and charm.....yay!!!

      Thank you for stopping by. I had to think about how much white furniture I have. I only have one bedroom set and a few pieces in the basement. I like white cabinets but prefer darker wood furniture. We just recently got new living room furniture.     I love that beautiful spring table. It is a breath of fresh air. And with the frigid temperatures here, it is a welcoming site. I did a spring inspired tablescape this week too.

      I got the charges at Pier 1 a couple of years ago. I think they still have them. We have been having a strange winter here in Colorado. Today is going to be 60 degrees but we will be in the 20's and teens this weekend with a possible 16 inches of snow.

    What a cute spring time table. I saw those dishes and have been debating on getting them. Love the combo with the charger and the yellow plates. The centerpiece draws on all the colors and is pretty to look at! We won't see real signs of spring here until April...ho hum :-(

    A breath of spring...just what I needed! Wind chill is -16 here this morning. Next weeks predicted temps in the 20's sounds like a heat wave after the temps we've had all month!       Thank you. We have been getting snow since last weekend here and more will be coming this weekend. Right now our wind chill is -12 with a balmy high of 21 degrees today.
