Getting organized update

Well I did it.  I managed to get all my plates onto the bookshelves.   I think that I will still make some curtains to cover the bottom two shelves.  I didn't have enough room for the tableclothes but I have another idea where I can put them.  Here is the before.

Now for the after.  I didn't have room for everything to come back but I will be using most of it somewhere else.

Like I said before this is my catch all room for all the items I use in decorating and of course where I blog as you can see the computer tower above.  Now onto the next room.

    1. Thank you. I just thought about using this area for the plates a few weeks ago. I always wanted to make this a pantry but it is not close to the kitchen.

  3. I like how your space seems "decorated" and not just storage shelves. After all, dishes make beautiful décor items whether on the table or stacked on shelves!

    1. Thank you and that is actually what I do. We already have a sitting room off of the master bedroom that has bookshelves so I really don't need this area for books. Plus I can add new stuff in here and my husband won't notice.

  8. Well, that is certainly neat! Great idea for adding a curtain at the bottom, too. I wish I had a dish room...dreaming of that someday. :-) Blessings~

    1. Thank you. I am still working on the curtains. I don't know if I want to buy some panels and shorten them or get material and make my own.

    1. I like that. My hubby is like "do you really need all this stuff?". And of course the answer is "Yes!" I also have a storage area in the basement.
